My Personal Opinion on Oats Overnight
Oats Overnight are really good; my favorite of the three is the Strawberries and Cream. The flavor reminds me of your standard packaged oatmeal but you can definitely tell they are comprised of higher-quality ingredients!
Chia seeds are packed full of Omega-3 fatty acids and fiber.
Omegas and fiber will keep you feeling full throughout the morning, which is incredibly helpful when you’re in the middle of a field trip presentation and forgot to bring snacks!
Flax seeds are full of antioxidants and maca root and the whey protein powder will provide the energy you need to power through your day!
My only complaint is the use of sucralose in the product. I am not a fan of artificial sweeteners.
Update: Oats Overnight offers Plant-Based Breakfast Options
Oats Overnight recently added a plant based line to their products in the following flavors:
- Maple Pancakes
- Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Cacao Crunch
- Blueberry Cobbler
I’ve tried these and am so excited to share that they will now definitely be a pantry staple! What I love about these new additions is that they include natural sweeteners like maple syrup, monkfruit and brown sugar. They’re also vegan. So, on both counts my artificial-sugar sensitive daughter can have them as can my vegan daughter. And I’ve caught my youngest taking sips from my blender bottle when I wasn’t looking! I’d call that a win all around!
